There yet? There yet? There yet? 1 minute down, 119 to go.
I’m in the car headed for Mornington Pier for my first nontraining dive.

snorkle
My brother Jake went snorkelling around the pier while we dived…

After putting on my thermals and wetsuit, I put on my preprepared SCUBA unit and started walking to our entry point, a ladder. As I got down, I felt relieved as the water took the SCUBA units weight from my shoulders. I think we could have giant strode, that’s what Dad says now! So I put on my fins and we snorkelled out of the boats, then Dad and I dropped down and cruised to the old section of the pier. There were tonnes and tonnes of Starfish with eleven legs and lots of mussels that is why all the starfish are there I guess.

So we went a little further and there were Old Wives, heaps of them, so we continued then we came out from under the pier and saw a leather jacket and a Northern Pacific Sea Star, but I didn’t have any catch bag, Dad had that. When we came back in under the pier, Dad showed me in the gaps of rocks and we saw a big horseshoe leather jacket. Then I started to get a bit cold and it started to get surgy, so we got out and went up the street and got pizza at La Porchetta before leaving for home.
